CONTRA
One of the video games that made history and is remembered by all. Published by Konami in 1988 for arcade machines and later distributed on Nintendo NES consoles and computers of the time such as the Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, MSX, and Amstrad CPC. Set in the future and within the category of shoot-and-run video games, the game owes its success to unique features such as varied visual perspectives, the possibility of two-player simultaneous and cooperative play, and the display of countless scenarios and levels of varying difficulty and creativity.
The game is made possible by the open source Flash emulator Ruffle.
